Cienfue: Music From Panama

Last year I had the chance to visit Panama and I was very impressed, is a beautiful country and full of culture, I had the chance to listen to their incredible musical exponents, since then I have been investigating more about the music from this country because I'm always open to learn about new music in any language. In my trip to Panama I discovered artists such as Señor Loop, El Papo Vecino, Filtro Medusa, Factor VIII, Polyphase, Pepe Calavera and among others Cienfue, who is a an artist who mixes Rock music with the Folklore music of Panama, creating that way his own style and a great number of fans.I Will try to write about the other great artists this country has in future posts, but right now I just wanted to mention that Cienfue has just release his third album "La Calma Y La Tormenta" which is a 2 disc album consisting of "La Extraña Calma" and "Tiempos de Tormenta" is a great album featuring Rock music mixed with Folklore from Panama and the best thing is that you can download it free on his website which is www.cienfue.com , hope you enjoy.
